Problem Statement

Developers are frequently reporting that any new/existing custom entities appeared read-only in the UCI but working properly properly in the Classic web UI.

This is due to mobile ready only setting.

Solution

Please find the steps below,

  • Step 1:

Click on the Settings Icon (Top right corner) => Go to Advanced Settings => Select the Settings area => Customization => Search for specific entity => Under the General Section, find the Outlook and Mobile tab

  • Step 2.

Unchecked the read-only in mobile.

  • Step 3 : Save the changes and publish the customization.
  • Step 4 : Navigate to UCI app and refresh the window (Ctrl + F5)

Now you will see all the OOB buttons visible in UCI app as per the security roles(Same as classic web) .
